Community Education Mission Statement

Our mission statement is to enhance the quality of life of all community members by providing lifelong learning opportunities.

Community Educators believe that:

Everyone counts. Each individual is a learner in the community and a resource to it.
Community Education is adaptable to changing needs and innovative in reaching all members of the community.
Lifelong learning opportunities prepare one in successfully meeting life’s challenges.
Involvement and commitment are the keys to a strong community.
Resources are created through cooperation.
Learning can be rewarding, exciting, and fun.

Objectives
To make maximum use of public school and city and rural facilities by the community and expand utilization by the school and city of the human resources of the school district outside the normal program provided for children in elementary and secondary grades.
